The folks at HPLHS really knocked it out of the park with this set. All of Lovecraft's stories are present in two handsome volumes with an additional volume chock full of insight and additional information regarding many of the major stories. This is a real treasure!
The Eye of Light and Darkness was delivered a few days ago. I love it so much, I was a little worried that it was super pink but I am happy to report that it’s less pink than the pictures in the store. How ever there is still some pink (in game it is a piece of the red pyramid).
I love the idea of a Coc scenario as a DART episode. By the way, is Nophru-Ka a nod to this line from The Outsider "Now I ride with the mocking and friendly ghouls on the night-wind, and play by day amongst the catacombs of Nephren-Ka in the sealed and unknown valley of Hadoth by the Nile." ?
This was delivered a few days ago and it’s awesome. It’s much less pink than the pictures in the store make it look. Basically two pieces of rock.
While the codes themselves are difficult (not that it’s a problem, what’s the point of a secret if it’s easy to find?) this badge is really easy to use! I love the finish and quality of the metal and the wheel turns easily. The art deco and Egyptian revival of the 20s is wonderfully captured here!
