Sanity/Madness - Two Sides of the Same Coin

Teetering on the brink of madness and don't know which way to go? Need to resolve a gaming SAN roll in a hurry? The HPLHS is here to save the day with our Sanity Coin. This wondrous device is a traditional clay coin, both larger and heavier than a US silver dollar - it's made by a manufacturer of high-end poker chips. It's illustrated on one side with "Sanity" and the calm and healing visage of Aesculapius, while the other side says "Madness" and features the crazed maniae - the Ancient Greek personifications of insanity.

Toss it to help make a decision, use it as a Challenge Coin, really it's up to you. We're just interested in preserving the vestiges of your mental health. Why did we make these? Maybe we're just crazy.

Coin is 1 7/8 inches in diameter. Packaged in a jewelry box so you can give the gift of mental health.

I was kindly gifted this by an Eldritch Elf one year.

A good weight and size, very tactile and nice to flip. I like there is text and print on the sides.

It is a shame the printing couldn't be brighter, it does seem a bit washed out.

Been wanting one for years to simplify the occasional Sanity roll. Couldn't be happier!

I'm Absolutely Just That Confident

Yesterday I received an email letting me know about the pre-order availability of Eternity at Sea, and instantly responded by ordering it. No hesitation, no qualms, just Pavlovian reaction.

Why? Because I have spent a staggering amount of money on things the HPLHS has created over the years, and I have never once been disappointed. Their craftsmanship is superb, their artistic vision excellent. One time, and one time only, I received an item where the manufacturing had gone slightly awry. Upon receipt of a photo of the blemish in question, I was sent a replacement, and was not required to send the odd one back -- a response few companies will match in today's world, I suspect!

I await delivery of Eternity at Sea with the patience and serenity of one who already knows the outcome, and is perfectly content.

Such a great production! This atmospheric creation really recreates the radio drama style of the 30's and 40's perfectly. The special effects are always mind-blowing because the sound transports you to the best visuals in the world; your own mind.

A worthwhile purchase for avid cosmic horror readers

If you are into H P Lovecraft's writing and other authors in that genre, or Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu RPG, then I wholeheartedly recommended signing up for membership of the HPLHS. Apart from being managed by a talented team it opens up a bunch of interesting things for you to see and do.
