When I 1st saw this being promoted, I thought it was a limited time exclusive & I wanted it so badly despite my empty wallet. A few weeks went by & I attained some graduation money. Combined with some saved up birthday money I was able to invest in my continued Miskatonic Uni education.
This set is gorgeous & I won’t be able to post all the photos but this set is well worth it. Now I just need to find a perfect display frame for my well earned Miskatonic Diploma…
A beautifully well made set of Lovecraft's works with lots of cool extras, including a guide jam packed with information on his stories. But where it matters most (the size of the text) was a huge disappointment for me. Why such a small text?! This will be a nice collector's piece to show off to friends and to gaze on and admire every so often. Ultimately though, I will not be reading either of the two volumes as the text is just too small for me.
The Lovecraft Experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Presented in a beautifully crafted clamshell box, it feels less like a book set and more like a collector’s treasure. For any devotee of H. P. Lovecraft—especially those who, like me, already own multiple editions of his works—this release is an essential addition.
Inside, you’ll find an illustrated reader’s guide that offers an engaging journey through Lovecraft’s life and most influential stories. Complementing this is a collection of atmospheric ephemera from the fictional Miskatonic University, a delightful touch that deepens the immersion in Lovecraft’s mythos.

The folks at HPLHS really knocked it out of the park with this set. All of Lovecraft's stories are present in two handsome volumes with an additional volume chock full of insight and additional information regarding many of the major stories. This is a real treasure!
This collection is without a doubt the perfect way to experience the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft.
These beautifully designed tomes are the perfect size for digestible reading, rather than many of the larger, unwieldy collections I've purchased in the past. The smooth leather covers and quality paperstock are a joy to hold.
The accompanied Readers Guide is filled with full colour pages of interesting curiosities that help further expand many of the ideas behind some of Lovecrafts most beloved tales, and the included Miskatonic Collectibles are well designed, beautifully made and an absolute treat, that add a bit of fun to the complete package.
I cannot recommend this collection highly enough.
