    FAQ

Q: Why isn't this episode on CD?

A: The Blood Red Sphinx will be over 90 minutes long, which means it is too big to fit on a CD. But it's not quite long enough to justify a second CD.

Q: Are you abandoning physical media forever?

A: We have made no such decision, but even this episode still comes with physical media. In fact, we're adding extra props for The Blood Red Sphinx.

Q:  Does the HPLHS make use of AI in creating this or other DART shows?

A: All Dark Adventure Radio Theatre shows are created without the use of artificial intelligence. We do not use such tools for writing, performances, music or illustration. We engage the services actual human beings for all of these jobs.

    Disappointing presentation

I've gotten all of the Dark Adventure Radio series and enjoyed it. With this present offering they have omitted the CD and only offered a download. I missed this when ordering and, if this is the future, I will not be getting any future releases. The cost for a few props is not totally unreasonable but I like to have the hardcopy of the presentation, not some file stuck out on a hard drive somewhere. I can't play these on my 'phonograph' any more.

    No business like it

A great little adventure in the tinsel town of yesteryear. While not a heavily Lovecraftian romp, it’s still quite entertaining; I’m a sucker for any detective-centric yarn, it’s got a great soundtrack that gives it that classic noir feel, and the inclusion of Forrest J. Ackerman is truly delightful. I would greatly look forward to any further escapades of Al Neville, and other original stories from the fine folks of the HPLHS.
