Paleogean Gulfs of Time in Your Pocket

The crazed maniacs over at Vermilion Collection offer their latest creation - a Lovecraft-inspired pocket watch. They've read “The Shadow Out of Time" carefully and have done their best to capture the bizarre iconography of the Great Race of Yith into a pocket watch that would look right at home on a 1920s investigator.

After a good initial winding, daily movement of the watch will keep the mechanism wound and on time. This handsome piece comes with the watch chain shown in the photos. It's not an antique, but it looks like one, and comes to you at a pleasantly affordable price.

Great addition to your persona - not Dagon proof at any depth.

In the shadowed recesses of temporal machination, there lies a pocket watch, an artifact of such eldritch craftsmanship that it seems to pulse with the very heartbeat of the cosmos. Its casing, etched with arcane geometries, glints with an unnatural sheen, as though forged in some forgotten crucible beneath stars unknown to mortal astronomy. The face, a pale disc, bears numerals that twist and writhe under scrutiny, suggesting secrets of eons long buried.

Each tick reverberates with a cadence that whispers of forbidden voids, a mechanical chant that binds the wearer to the inexorable march of time’s unyielding entropy. The crystal, cold to the touch, seems less a barrier than a window to some otherwhere, where shadows of moments yet unborn flicker in silent dread. To carry this watch is to bear a fragment of eternity’s weight, a burden both exquisite and accursed, for it measures not merely hours but the fragile span of one’s sanity against the vast, indifferent universe.

Great watch - not just a prop!

I found the suggestion for this item in the Dog Walker scenario book and was excited to add it to my collection. The watch is practically perfect. The details are wonderful, it works as a winding watch is expected to, and really I find it amazing that HPLHS offers these kinds of really cool products. Thank you HPLSH!

They've done it again!

Purchased to enhance an outfit to attend a 1920s murder mystery party. The peice is very nice looking, easy to use, and another fun trinket to use with The Dog Walker role play scenario. I am quite happy with the product. It's size is smaller than I had thought it would be, but then again I don't frequently see or use pocket watches so perhaps that is on me. I appreciate the chain options as well. I used the clip to fasten to a vest and it held well and passed a drop test. Great product.

Feel the quality

Love this item. Took me far too long to fathom the winder/setting but I blame The Great Race of Yith! ;-)
Seriously a quality timepiece.

Eldricth Time Keeper

Definitely fits for my relics collection. I have always loved old time pieces, and pocket watches while not as fashionable as they once were a century ago, are still stylish. It winds up nice and always a great conversation piece when asked the time.

"Why yes, it is half past Cthulhu!"

I just hope the eldritch hands do not come seeking this relic. Must keep time!
