French illustrator François Baranger is one of the world's greatest Lovecraftian illustrators. His versions of The Dunwich Horror, At the Mountains of Madness and The Call of Cthulhu brim with breathtaking imagery, grand vistas, staggering details, and a fidelity to the source material. Glorious art for a wonderful read

Baranger's artwork makes for a really fun read as he captures the mood of the story wonderfully. Highly recommended along with the previous work: Dunwich Horror, Call of Cthulhu and two volumes of At the Mountains of Madness.

This Is A Beautiful Book

This is really a beautiful volume. The large page size (35cm x 25 cm) allows the pictures and the text to be really well combined in a comfortable way for the reader. The pictures are brilliant --- detailed and expressive for the story. One can feel the doom, and I recommend it.
