The Deluxe Sonia Greene Autobiography

Lovecraft—Sonia Haft Greene Lovecraft Davis was a woman of many names because she lived a rich and fascinating life. Scholar and editor Monica Wasserman, working with Helios House Press, is delighted to be publishing a beautiful case-bound (hardcover) edition of Sonia’s autobiography, Two Hearts That Beat as One, sharing Sonia's story in her own words, accompanied by a plethora of photos and papers from her archives, and with a foreword by Sean Branney and Andrew Leman of the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society.

These case-bound (hardcover) books will be printed in full colour on high-quality art paper, and Smythe-sew for durability and lay-flat convenience. Our Standard Edition book features a quarter-bound hardcover with gold foil details. The Collector’s Edition is presented in a handsome slipcase, and comes with a tipped-in page signed by the editor and a small extra gift reproduction of a note from H.P. Lovecraft to Sonia.

Impressive Achievement!

I am well into my journey into Sonia’s life and am impressed with the obvious depth of research, the text's readability, and the overall design of the book and related ephemera.
Kudos to Ms. Wasserman, who has captured the zeitgeist of the era she has chronicled, and the Helios House design team for another impressive tome.

Temple, another fantastic production by DART

Temple is a wonderful and scary listen and a great addition to our growing DART library. The voice acting and pacing, tone modulation, scene setting .. all excellent and pull you along. The little anachronistic audio details like the adverts and static sounds really help capture the feeling of historic radio dramas. The props pack is, as ever, really detailed and well crafted. Top marks, again , DART!

Amazing

Just finished hearing the whole of The Temple. Damn, if it isn't one of the most ambitious and amazing things the DART has ever done. Goes beyond the original short story and it has some of the best performances ever in a DART play, especially Jesse Merlin as Klenze
Y'all need to hear it ASAP.

Staying dry with Storm Darragh in Old England

A nice raining day in Gravesend, with Storm Darragh blowing across the UK. The umbrella managed to repel the rain and held firm against the odd gust of heavy wind. I will admit that I did panic abit hoping the umbrella might turn inside out, but it stayed strong. Definitely; one to use in the downpour, and should snow ever pay a visit, but I think I will avoid using it against the full force of a storm. Especially the named ones.
