The fictional city of Innsmouth, Massachusetts is among Lovecraft's most enduring creations. The locale of his iconic tale "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" created a setting for one of his most effective tales of horror. And of course, it's a prime location for Call of Cthulhu® role playing games. Our friends at Chaosium drastically revamped their 1992 sourcebook Escape from Innsmouth, adding scads of new material to create this all new Innsmouth sourcebook. Significant portions of the new book were provided by the HPLHS' own Sean Branney & Andrew Leman.

The Innsmouth sourcebook contains thorough background information about the town's colorful history, featuring the events that led to the creation of its dominant cult - the Esoteric Order of Dagon. The sourcebook also contains lots of new information about Deep Ones, their cultural, biology, technology, behaviors, and much more. It provides extensive maps and information about the key locations in town, and of course the town's residents are described in exhaustive detail too. All of this great info sets you and your players up for amazing adventures in this dreadful seaside slum.

The book contains two Innsmouth city map posters (one designed for players, and one marked with hidden information for the Keeper!), as well as a poster-sized copy of the front page of the Innsmouth Courier—made by the HPLHS! Call of Cthulhu: Innsmouth also introduces new rules and skills for Innsmouth investigators.
