Yes, the shipping is expensive. The Chaosium game books weigh in at nearly eight pounds. The HPLHS Gamer Prop set is about five more pounds. Order both and you're getting a whole lot of gaming fun!

Beautiful set - slightly damaged in transit

So ordering all the way from the US to mainland Europe is always a challenge in regards to actually getting the items in a timely manner. However, the package was dispatched promptly and arrived within a truly impressive timeframe (2 weeks). The books and props themselves were beautiful and will certainly be used when I run the adventure in a couple of months.
One small note, the box of the props is "simple' cardboard and, even though I can see that care was taken in placing it on top of the other items, my box came in slightly dented and damaged. I do not mind too much as that is the risk of intercontinental transit for goods, but if you want to buy this, do keep in mind this will probably happen (unless the HPLHS makes sure to put more pakking materials between the boxes)

Horribly wonderful

This is one wonderful adventure. At least for the keeper and the players. It's sort of horrible for the investigator-characters (but that's their problem). For us, this is great.

Cannot Wait to Run

I purchased both separately as soon as each was available. I could not be happier with these purchases. Masks has been a long time dream campaign for me to run, and these editions have made it much easier to prepare and actually get my game to the table. I could not be happier.
