Curiosity killed the Cat(s of Ulthar)

I bought this purely out of curiosity as I used to play it back in the day. I'm actually really impressed at what they've done to sumplify things. This really IS a stand-alone introduction to the (bigger) game. The word that springs to mind is "gateway" (read into that what you will) ;-)

Can't fault the service from HPLHS.

Strangely this item actually cost me less to ship from the states than if I'd bought it in the UK (but only because I maximised my order with other items).

Great Game

I have the previous print of the starter box, but I think the content is the same. Played with a friend and I then bought the main rule book because I was impressed. The game is different from D&D. Character's are more fragile. Using skills is more important than combat. Look up Seth Skorkowsky on YouTube, he has good reviews of the game. I am very impressed by Chaosium's game. But if you want the full experience then get the core rule book. There is a lot more to the rules.

I’m a lover of HPL but I never played D&D or anything like it. This is my first experience with a role playing games. If anyone can help me with this game. It’ll be great.
